The story of the tail gunner is about my father in law and his brother they were in WW2 and survived it, there was so many that never came home after the war. They have seen so much they are hero's as all of our troops are, there just isn't that many of the WW2 veterans left that seen it first hand and this story is just one of them. Told by the ones that were there.

Here are a few photos of our trip to the 8th Air Force reunion there was somewhere around 300 to 400 there, it was a great time we went to the air and space museum, I have a few pictures on the {pictures} page. We met many new friends. We also went to an airshow and museum of WWII era.

Dewey A Holst passed away at his home while sleeping on May 25, 2021. That is the way he would have wanted it to be. No suffering and at home. We thank you for your interest and looking at this site of his life and service.
